They hired me here in Alabama and I have two felonies.
At the location I worked at we had two employees with felony records, I think it depends on the manager and what felonies you have.
Depends on what the felony is for
During labor shortages they do and during times of declining sales they hire only outstanding applicants despite the situation. Same for management promotions. It is unlikely for there to be a shortage in Management candidates but it will generally take that kind of situation for a felon to be promoted unless it is a person who has demonstrated outstanding leadership potential. In some areas, felon applicants will not be considered only because of the sheer volume of applicants and the need to shorten the list. In other areas where the economy is more favorable toward job seekers, they will seriously consider anyone. I remember once working for a s3x predator general manager who was actually a terrific guy whose story we never know. We only were told not to harrass him about it and that he has demonstrated rehabilitation and years of lawful behavior since the incident occurred. I once worked for a district supervisor who had a drug conviction and after only two years, was promoted three times and was ultimately fired for theft. This goes to show that anything can happen. It just seems to happen more slowly for convicted felons. Just don't give up without giving it a try. In a place where you least would expect to be hired, you'll find a job where you are appreciated for the value you add to the organization. Don't limit yourself to certain jobs unless you are proof-positive that they will not ever give you an interview. If they give you an interview they are considering hiring you.
Yes they do. I gave 8 drug sales n I work there.
Would they let you advance to manager if you have a felony from 14 years ago
Yes, the management hired a few people with felonies. They believe in second chances.

Yes, but it all really depends on what the manager thinks. Just call about the job and make sure the manager knows that you're really interested in the position you apply for.
