Head office fights often with regional and national offices. Ten years working in development and never seen such poor treatment of national staff. They were expected to work extra hours no compensation, even through many were single moms. Their job security was terrible compared to expat staff. Some managers were compassionate but there were too many who weren’t.

Plan in general is still very hierarchical and while managers make good salaries, non managers struggle or are simply OK which leads to a high turnover and lack of diversity which is acknowledged by management. Very open minded, work from home possibilities, etc. But transitioning to a more collaborative office at the moment has lead to a bit of disorganizing. Awesome ideals and principles
