Yes, you need to buy cheap gifts and tvs and purses to give away at enrollments. They will make you split the cost with other agents working the employer group. Travel can become very expensive and often results in little money made because there are too many agents working group. And the products are expensive and you find yourself up against competitors that have cheaper and better policies. It pretty much sucks!

Well you do have to pay for all of your overhead...car, gas, hotel and food. So in a way you do have to pay to work. With commissions at 35% to start it's a tough go especially with out help from your upline. Remember all your so called managers make money off your work, so you deserve their time.

I witnessed this over and over: No direct fee payment; however, many of the sales people who don't make it past six weeks in the field are horrified to find that they have to pay back a $500 DRAW that they are given to believe is a new salesperson bonus.
They will take it right back from your bank account.
