I’ve worked at several different inpatient rehab facilities and PMRC is behind the times when it comes to most things. The techs are required to do so many different things because the entire place is so understaffed. A tech is expected to do everything from the admission paperwork, body search, urine analysis, run group, luggage search, all while tending to the patients’ emotional and sometimes physical needs. It’s referred to as a “dual diagnosis” facility, but the techs and personnel are not equipped to handle dual diagnosis patients on second or third shift. When it comes to pay rate, it’s laughable. The people at Sheetz and fast food restaurants are making more than the people taking care of you or your loved ones.

I consider myself quite lucky to work at PMRC. We are committed to ensuring the success of our clients by providing ethical and compassionate care to our clients. Everyone works together and its amazing to see the transition of the clients and their new outlook on life due to the hard work they put in. The additions to administration and the management team have been fantastic. The facility has had quite a few upgrades this year with more to come in the upcoming year. I am proud to be part of such an amazing team and could not be happier!!!
