24 hour turnaround time on GI path reports. Very impressive!
Medical Transcriptionist (Current Employee) – Memphis, TN – September 18, 2013
I began my employment at GI Pathology, now Poplar Healthcare, in April 2006. It was a very unique job and a very demanding one but I loved what I did just the same, This year the company became corporate and is now called Polar Healthcare, incorporating along with GI pathology, dermatology as well as Women's Health. There is not that much transcription since the GI doctors have gone to a voice recognition system. The company has changed overall. We pay for ALL of our benefits now plus the company has built a new building which is about 40 miles from my home.
One yearly bonus. Occasional free lunch or snack provided.
No benefits paid for by the company. Corporate atmosphere. Not friendly like it used to be.
