Material Handler/Forklift Operator in Ontario, CA

The job is very repetitive as are many, hours are long and tiring, to the point of exhaustion, many times you're stuck working 6 days a week. A lot is expected from you. There is no room for advancement, and management can be a bit of a head ache at times. There are many company perks, great pay, bonuses, good benefits, and complimentary lunches. Fellow immediate employees are fun, but sometimes do not pull their own weight. Be on time, do your job, be ready to learn, and you'll be just fine there.

Everyone is extremely nice & helpful, family like environment. Can vary from very busy to having a lot of downtime so you’ll have to be able to adapt.

Women and PoC are not treated fairly. Higher management lacks mutual respect. Base salary is terrible and its never adjusted to current market situations (so low that most employees can't afford the vehicle benefits offered). Average PTO, decent bonus (but if it's a bad year, you probably won't get the full percentage of bonus). Hybrid schedule is now enforced (two times a week in office). No career growth, you will be shuffled laterally and this is considered "career growth". People assume if they start as intern/contractor they will be promoted to a full time employee, THATS NOT THE CASE. There are more contractors than full time employees. Contractors and Interns are treated differently: not allowed to park in the covered garage, are excluded from certain company events.

Besides being in the ATL. It's a great place to grow and the best product in the industry. Lots of time off besides your paid vacation. Telling people where you work it pretty easy.

PFS- Contractor (AAR) in Hapeville, GA

Most are hired as contractors but you'll be told after about 2 years you'll be brought on permanently. I currently know of 2 7 year contractors. Growth is a bit hard to obtain and they don't utilize the staffs expertise. Environment is light though and usually not stressful.
