Obviously nothing has changed
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  PortamouthFebruary 3, 2019
I worked for this FBO some years ago. They talked a really good game, all kinds of promises , however as soon as you got in the door , they “turn on you” as others have stated. Awful company culture . The GM if that is what will call him... I guess that is who people referred to as the “toll taker”. Very low class place . They try and make themselves look fancy..... they run a low class FBO on a field with so much waste buried beneath the ground they need a regular crew of specialist to control it .STAY AWAY from this place if you actually do love the aviation field.

Busy Small Airport
Manager (Current Employee) –  Portsmouth, NHNovember 5, 2018
A typical day includes providing service to many different types of aircraft ranging from small General Aviation planes to large Military and Commercial aircraft.

Some days can be long when aircraft delay. Most of the work is outside and can be in the middle of the night. Most shifts are under 8 hours. Company does allow employees to sign up for overtime.

Majority of employees enjoy coming to work and are team oriented.

Best part of the job is the variety day to day - different types of airplanes and new customers.
Pros
Fast paced, team oriented
Cons
Work outside, Work Holidays

The worst!
Ramp Agent (Current Employee) –  Portsmouth, NHOctober 25, 2018
There is zero leadership in this place. You have your older crew that has been there far too long and think they own the place. The favoritism that goes on is ridiculous. If you speak up they’ll turn on you. Everyone is looking for a job and the turn over rate is crazy. They have people quit daily. They barely have a crew and it’s all because of zero management. They delete “bad” reviews on here through Indeed and even ask employees to post “good” reviews so their reviews go up! They promise every person at the interview process that “you’re management material”. “You’re going to be a manager”. They tell everyone that!!

CSR/ Front Desk Position/Billing Specialist
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Portsmouth, NHOctober 3, 2018
It's a fast paced work environment; answering phones, replying to emails, and doing invoicing. If the pay was more competitive, I would be content, but there's a lot of room for improvement with pay being around $13 an hour. The expectations, and responsibilities are a lot for the lackluster pay. I feel like I could get paid a lot more, while doing less somewhere else.
Pros
Great work environment, flexible schedule.
Cons
Low salary. No raise after 90 days as discussed in interview after meeting performance expectations.

No time for family
Line Service Technician (Current Employee) –  Portsmouth, NHJuly 3, 2017
The employees are under staffed and over worked. Management does not care. You have no family time. You are expected to work 7 days a week, plus stay hours after your shift. If you do not, they try and guilt trip you or threaten to change your hours.
Training is terrible. Equipment is lousy and always breaking down, making the job more difficult. Equipment is never repaired correctly.
Pros
Overtime
Cons
No time for family

Growing
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Portsmouth, NHMay 30, 2017
The company has grown a lot over the past 2 years. Through that, there is always some issues that can arise. There has been a replacement and promotion of some of the managers who all seem competent, patient and much more accessible to work with. It can be crazy busy at times and slow at others but the time does fly usually as there is always something to do.

Amazing how many billionaires, celebrities and sports teams that go through this airport. Every day is something new and really interesting. I'm a big aviation nut so working in and around jets worth tens of millions of dollars is fun and the customers and generally really nice and thankful for what we do.
Pros
Good supervisors (funny and bright). Each day is different.
Cons
Can be busy at times

Line Lead (Current Employee) –  Portsmouth, NHMay 6, 2016
There is an extremely high turn over rate at this place and the morale is extremely low due to horrible management. The Director of operations is an abusive dictator tyrant. Favoritism and cronyism is blatantly obvious.
Cons
long hours - no breaks or lunches
