With every agency or hospital you work out there are kinks to be "unkinked." The administration is responsive to their employees and the setting is conducive of a therapeutic environment.

General (Current Employee) –  Port Saint Lucie, FLOctober 12, 2015
While working in a mental health and substance abuse hospital most workers will face many trials. Traits best serving the mental health and substance abuse field are: Patience, Empathy, Respect, and compassion. We are all essentially human beings. The teams at Port St. Lucie Hospital use team work to provide care to each unit.

The possibility of advancement from with in is very limited at this time.

Raises have been "Frozen" for the past 2 years. Full time positions are very limited. Many are working full time hours with out being granted a full time position. Paid time off, sick hours, and insurance are only offered to Full time employees.

Regardless of any grievance that any worker may have with Hospital administration, Most of the workers are really interested and proactive in helping patients.
