Extremely well run company with highly skilled and friendly employees
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Current Employee) –  Palm Beach County, FLApril 1, 2019
PBS Corp is an excellent company for a new BCBA in the workplace. Highly skilled senior analysts are able to assist you in any way possible when taking your first cases (both new and transfers). The culture is very inviting as anyone, from the regional managers to other new BCBAs are always willing to help and offer new perspectives.

Unorganized and does not care about clients
BCBA (Former Employee) –  New JerseyJanuary 8, 2019
I was very unhappy working at PBS. The management was very unorganized and they did not care about helping their clients. They provide untrained staff and are not supportive

Organization and management
Analyst (Former Employee) –  CaliforniaDecember 7, 2018
The company is not well organized. Although they have many requirements for your job, they are loosely structured, and you will be left in the dark about a lot of things. For instance, who does scheduling? Who does what? It's not very clear. You will end up having to do a lot of work that they don't pay you for, such as administrative work. They used to offer higher pay than their competitors, but that's not really the case anymore. The pay isn't that great. The communication is also terrible. Behavior Assistants might cancel their session without telling you or even tell the parent that they're not going to work on your case anymore without telling you. I have never seen a company with worse communication and organization.
Pros
RBT training, some supportive people
Cons
Their website has too many glitches almost daily, you have to do too much work that they don't pay you for, lack of communication

Incredible Organization with Great Leaders who believe in quality, effective services
BCBA (Current Employee) –  FloridaNovember 1, 2018
PBS Corp. is the best ABA company I have ever worked for! The regional leaders and corporate leaders truly care about their team members and the clients who are served. They stop at nothing to ensure that support is provided to those in need and truly believe in empowering others. If you are looking for an organization that will invest in your growth as a professional, PBS Corp. is your work home. There are endless opportunities for those seeking to grow/change/advance or have a passion about any aspect of this field. PBS Corp. has a history of creating positions where they don't exist to meet the professional needs of team members. This is a solid, ethical organization who is committed to making a positive difference for clients, staff, and the field of ABA.
Pros
flexible schedule, quality of work life bonuses, opportunities to grow, relocation options, collaborative work environment, tech savvy
Cons
not paid for client cancellations

Awesome!
Behavior analyst (Current Employee) –  FloridaOctober 8, 2018
They truly care about their contractors and employees and make it a point to emphasize a positive culture and team approach. They pay well and as a contractor you are in complete control of your schedule. As an employee, they are very flexible and understanding with your schedule and they also make it a point to emphasize a balance between your work and life.
Pros
Flexible schedule, Good pay, Positive work culture
Cons
You must be proactive and organized when scheduling clients or you can be impacted by cancellations

Bcba
BCBA (Former Employee) –  USAMay 6, 2018
PBS is a very positive company. The regional staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is a lot of help and guidance you just have to seek it out. Great online system for communicating with colleagues and storing/uploading client documents.

Company feels disorganized. Lack of company wide scheduling procedures. Lack of company wide procedures in general for data collection, dress code, scheduling. Everything is left up to the BCBA to determine. Since every BCBA has different expectations, assistants that work with several BCBA’s have to adapt to each new analyst’s way of doing things which can cause th analyst extra time spent to train the assistants to do things the way they want for their cases. So much time is spent on administrative responsibilities that you don’t get paid for. Since everyone are independent contractors assistants can change their schedule on a whim. This creates at least three hours of work for the analyst (mostly unpaid) as they have to recruit, (may choose to interview), schedule, and overlap with new assistant to orient to case.

Lack of benefits. No 401k, sick time, PTO, etc.
Pros
Flexibility (freedom to create your own schedule, choose your own cases, etc)
Cons
No benefits, you are often isolated working from home, no interaction with colleagues

Unbelievably supportive company with excellent work/life balance
BCBA / Regional Coordinator (Current Employee) –  New JerseyJanuary 23, 2017
Came over from another agency that I worked with for over 6 years and communication was not great, work took over my life, 24/7 it never stopped.

PBS Corp. is the complete opposite. You are in constant communication with the whole team; the company is run by a BCBA Doctorate whose whole mission is to improve the quality of life for client's, their families and caregivers, and employees. This has to be the best decision I ever made! There are so many opportunities for growth here and so much support across the country!
