The toughest students deserve the best teachers. The Positive Education Program has both. Combining vigorous mental health and special education interventions, PEP takes the roughest kids, from the most troubled families, and invite them to live again. Our students have been physically broken, emotionally damaged, sexually abused, and academically neglected, but PEP welcomes them without reservation. At PEP, we invite kids to play, explore, and trust again. You can learn more about PEP – Ohio’s largest mental health agency serving kids - at www.pepcleve.org.
I taught social skills and provided counseling for the classroom. I love working with my assistant and fellow teacher in the class. Working with the parents and helping them manage difficult situations was very rewarding.
