Severely understaffed with goal set for how much reimbursement the patient will generate, with no emphasis placed on care needed. Employees are fired if they express concern or advocate for patient care or safety. Management are bullies and violate every ethical code imaginable. Was a great place to work for until Post Acute Medical took over, very very sad.

Nervous. What would the patient load be today? How short staffed would we be?

Thankful to have a job but hate it. What used to be a wonderful hospital with an amazing culture of kindness and caring has been torn down since Post Acute bought it a year ago.

I hated working there!! The Resp Manager did nothing but gossip all day. There was a lot of favoritism. If the ex CEO, which is now District Manager, didn't like you or the way you look he would find a reason to get rid of you. He is a bully and threatened the entire management team's job on a daily basis. The CEO they have now is a puppet and the DON is sneaky and a back stabbed. They don't care about the employees or the patients. They only care about putting patients in a bed. Don't walk away from this place! RUN as fast as you can!!!!! Former CNA at PAM Hammond, La
