Not enough working hours. Pottery Barn is an amazing place to work at, I just wish they had more working hours to give each employee.

In 19 months I accepted a demotion from management to visual team associate and in doing so, I lost a 40 cent merit increase. My performance was not in question, however, management was more concerned with payroll budgets than with quality people stimulating sales.

After 16 months, most of the talent from within the store has been overlooked and all hiring has come from the outside. No advancement opportunities on the horizon even though proven employment history and talent has been displayed. The General Manager rarely does her job as she typically has the other managers do all her work.
