They treat account people much better than creatives. Management is either missing or inconsistent.
Associate Director Medical Writing (freelance) (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILJuly 2, 2019
Positives are a beautiful work campus, free catered lunches every Wednesday, comprehensive and excellent healthcare and other benefits, and they structure plans to minimize out-of-pocket costs. As far as the work environment, emphasis is placed on account and former health plan employees, art and copy people are more "cogs in the wheel," interchangeable and expendable.
Pros
Beautiful offices, free lunch every Wednesday, excellent benefits, especially healthcare
Cons
Long work hours, poor work-life balance, spotty management

Not a place you want to work.
Middle management (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILDecember 31, 2018
This place is toxic. Nobody good stays because they get so burned out. Management does not care about their employees. If you’re thinking about working here, think again. You won’t last unless your job is your whole life.
Pros
Can sometimes work from home.
Cons
Too numerous to list!

Good salary, good management, few opportunities for advancement
Healthcare Business Intelligence Analyst (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJanuary 9, 2018
It's a very small team. That has its advantages. You know everyone and that is fun. But it leaves little to no room for advancement because there is only one local manager and about 15 team members. So it's a great entry level job.

Most team members report to managers working from out of state offices. This means that some team members can show up late or leave early without any managerial intervention. It feels a little unfair in that respect.

Overall, it's fun and creative, but stressful.
Pros
salary, catered lunches, fun atmosphere
Cons
few opportunities for advancement, team members work many more hours than they are given credit for

Payer focused service vendor with growing consulting business
Senior Engagement Manager (Current Employee) –  New York, NYJune 1, 2017
Overall good place to work with some smart people. It's not like a typical consulting firm as you are working on a consulting team within an agency. That has its benefits but also has its drawbacks.

Decent place to work. Wish the company morale was a little better. However, the office is beautiful and there is lots of opportunities.

Consultant (Current Employee) –  Bethesda, MDFebruary 10, 2015
The management is excellent at bringing new business and generate great ideas and insights for clients. Work is very analytic and sometimes involves extensive quantitative modeling work which is challenging.
