Manager review and workplace culture
Shift leader, Brand Ambassador (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAAugust 23, 2018
Management was very responsive to address any needs of the staff. Workplace culture was bright, generous, transparent. I learned the process of pressed juice is higher quality than juicing it.

SHIFT LEAD (Former Employee) –  Seattle, WAAugust 9, 2018
This was a great job if you are a student in need of a part time job. You learn great costumer service skills. Pressed Juicery stores in Seattle were unorganized and fairly new to the area it took a lot of change and working with corporate to figure out what worked best for these stores in Seattle.

Fair & positive sales environment
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Walnut Creek, CAJuly 21, 2018
This job is really good if you aren't lazy. There is a lot of downtime, so you're spending a lot of time cleaning and organizing when you're not working with a customer. Management is really fair and nice and the company cares about you. It's really a team because you have to communicate with one another and be social, especially with customers. also you have to really care about health, so you can relate to the customers and be knowledgable.
my manager there was AMAZING, really good teacher and wants you to succeed.
Pros
Two free juices or freeze, wonderful management, easy job :)
Cons
product knowledge/memorization

New company so management is confused and lost.
Store Manager (Current Employee) –  San Francisco, CAJune 24, 2018
If you want to join a company that has decent health insurance then this is for you. It is not a good job for new managers because corporate is not helpful and the turnover rate with managers and district managers are extremely high. They demand a lot of you and if you have questions expect a few days for a response from the corporate office or your district manager. The product itself and customers are really fun and exciting. Overall the experience was a 3 out of 5 stars experience and it has been good to me.
Pros
Great vision
Cons

flexible for school
Shift Lead (Former Employee) –  New York, NYJune 22, 2018
The hours are flexible but the company loves to hire from outside and not promote from within. Upper management in the company doesn't know what they are doing, and do not care about the wellbeing of their employees. They expect you to not have a life outside of pressed juicery and be at their beck and call if someone were to call out. The job itself is fairly easy and the hours are flexible. If they would change their upper management the company could be a much better work environment.

Store Managers beware
Store Manager (Former Employee) –  District 6 and 7June 10, 2018
A good recruiter will sell you on the perks with cute metaphors. Don't buy in.

This companies culture is modeled after a starving voulcher. Caotic, mismanaged and absolutely no work life balance.
Pros
2 free juices a shift
Cons
There is no opportunity for growth and development, Tools and resources are very limited, Communication is sub par, There is little to none life work balance, You will be micromanaged.

Great Learning experience with lots of potential
Store Manager (Former Employee) –  Montecito, CAMay 31, 2018
A typical day at work at Pressed Juicery gave lots of opportunity for growth, but required a lot of self start up from prior experiences without the proper training. It was very upbeat and positive environment, but for a new Store Manager there weren't many tools or leadership role models due to lack of proper training within a fast growing company. I loved working there, because the connections you could build with your team and your customers were limitless. It gave the opportunity not only to build a long lasting connection, but to introduce many to better health decisions. By far one of the best jobs I've had.
Pros
positive environment, health knowledge and free juice to introduce you to personal experiences with the product
Cons
lack of leadership from corporate and little followup with remote locations such as Santa Barbara

Poor management, disorganized company
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Larkspur, CAFebruary 22, 2018
I used to absolutely love my job, but no longer do under the new management. The hours are very low and limited, and the schedule is not flexible in that management is unwilling to work with employees trading shifts, covering, etc. As it is rarely busy, it can get very boring with long gaps between customers. The best part of this job is interacting with customers and discussing all the benefits and characteristics of each ingredient of the juices. Overall, it is slow paced with poor management, however it is ideal if you are looking for a relaxed environment.

Low hours, poor management

wont advance unless you are friends with leads or management , most of the time you don't have anything to do
Machine Operator (Former Employee) –  Fresno, CAJanuary 6, 2018
If you don't know a lead or supervisor outside of work, you're not going to advance in this place. They don't hire enough people because nobody wants to work there. It's cold and you will get wet and have to work like that for the rest of your shift. Management doesn't care about their employees they only care about numbers. You are always being watched including during your breaks and lunch. Not enough to do you're always looking for something to do and walking around a lot.
Pros
40 hrs in 4 days with 3 days off
Cons
favoritism, no differential pay
