Didn't really have an interview. There were 3 of us applying for a caregiver position. The ED talked about herself gave us a tour of the facility asked if we were still interested, hired us all gave us about 17 training packets to read and took a test for each one and started when all our requirements were met.

No teamwork in expressions side So you're basically working alone, and on asst. living side they only have 1 pca to do trays, take orders, serve meals, bus tables reset tables answer room calls, do laundry and give showers. If there's an evacuation ever good luck getting all the residents out alone.

2:30-10:30 swing shift
And then grave. Not sure of those hours.

Too much work and pressure including stress to have 1 pca on assisted living side and in expressions it's a little slower but more stressful since you're dealing with Alzheimer's and Dementia residents. Teamwork would be nice but some pca's are just too lazy to care.

No they do not at any location as far as i know. We weren't drug tested in Henderson but they should. Which is kind of weird because you are caring for people with memory care disease and residents who are fall risks.

I did leave and it's because of the work load which isn't mentioned during the interview. You find out after you start. And because the management doesn't care about residents. Even corporate can care less. No teamwork. PCAs are rude to residents and too much drama for me.

What interview? They hire anybody off the street. Whether you have experience or not you get paid the same. Unfair.
