This company was very nurturing, the environment was filled with pretty decently friendly people who you would see so often that you would get to know them fairly well. Everyone sort of looked out for each other when the going got tough, which is surprising considering the size of the operation. Regardless of your role at this company you will learn the automotive industry and its inner workings. The management was decent, it honestly depends on who is your manager but if you have a good manager you'll probably be really happy here. The most enjoyable part of this job was the relationships you forged over time working here, it's a pretty great place to network.

It doesn’t matter if you work here months or years, if you have a few slow months be prepared to be let go. Just about every manager takes no time to train you they just throw you in and you need to know everything and god forbid you ask for help, if they are doing something they’ll tell you they have a million things going on at once and you’re left guessing what to do. You can’t rely on the help of co workers either because they don’t want to help someone who’s new competition to them. You can be loyal to them but don’t expect loyalty in return! I actually loved what I did for years but very poor management from most of management (not all) some managers are also treated poorly! Go somewhere where you’re truly appreciated because it doesn’t happen here sadly. It’s almost like high school. If you fit in with the “click” you’re golden but if you’re really just a nobody who didn’t go to school with the owner or kiss up you might as well just stay away from this company

The Preston Auto Group is second to none! I have grown both personally and professionally during my 7+ years tenure here. I appreciate their willingness to promote from within as well as continuing to expand the group in order to create more opportunities for their employees!

great place to work. upper management appreciates what we do as employees.great benefits. great work conditions . great customer satisfaction. air condition body shop. and service center. the largest car dealership in new castle area.one of the largest employers in the new castle area. there is no typical day at work at preston motors .every day is different .every day there are new challenges when working with the public and other employees. some days go smooth some days may have a few bumps .but all in all the good days out number the bad.as far as managers some one is always near by to help and advise if any situations come up that may need a second opinion.it is a busy work place. some days not enough hours in a day. but at the end of the day I feel like I accomplished a lot. the most enjoyable part of this job is when you get a customer saying good things about you. and how great they were treated.
