Overall a great company. Plenty of work parties to reward us for the hard work. Easy to get along with coworkers. Only downside is you have to drive your own car to job sites.

Poor Management and undervaluing employees

I worked for Price for almost 5 years, and never felt like I really belonged there. The management staff is half-filled with people who are there because they are friends with the owners and not qualified, and the other half are actually qualified people who quickly become overwhelmed with the amount of work that is dumped on to them and they leave shortly after starting. They never truly define your responsibilities so that they can continue to dump various tasks on you without compensation, they are ridiculously low with their pay compared to the market around them, and they are slow to give you evaluations and raises without a significant amount of pressure from you. I would not recommend that anyone work at Price, especially if you are just starting in the trades.

Challenging place to work, great people to work with

I've worked at Price for 17 years, and I've been challenged, developed, and put in a position to consistently improve myself and achieve higher and higher goals. Price Electric's innovative methods and range of work gives employees the opportunity to gain skills in dozens of different disciplines. Price Electric is a great construction contractor to work for.
