I'm not sure about Prides Policy but what i do know is the warden reviews all backgrounds and depending on your record the warden will give you the pass or fail. I was told from a friend of mine that he wasn't able to follow through with the hiring process because of a misdemeanor he had from when he was younger.

They did employment background checks. Once the results were received, I tabulated them. Because the company received NISH funding, the regulations of using NISH funding was to do extensive background checks including misdemeanors since their clientele was disabled and could have easily been taken advantage of.
