As a travel nurse your pay can go up and down according to location. As a LPN the greatest pro is experience and being able to visit parts of the country you'd never thought of seeing. I make the same pay in my home state. You have to remember that this company has to pay for your travel and possibly your transportation out of your pie. I highly recommend traveling for people that are single with no children or as a Registered Nurse.
We get raises annually. They take your effort from the prior year and use it to base this. As long as you work, more than likely you are going to get a raise. Also if you are promoted to a higher position you will also get a raise.

It is possible to get a raise after finishing assignments if the contract allows.
