Employee (Former Employee) – Dallas, TX – February 12, 2019
This is an old school environment and to me it felt like a time warp in terms of overall management style. In my opinion, leadership isn’t creative and they don’t think outside the box. I also feel that Management from the top down tended to treat employees like children rather than adults. The rank and file people here are great, they like to work hard and play hard and people are just really nice and a lot of fun. I think management here really really seems to hold people back instead of giving people their wings and letting them shine.
Manager maintained a clear expectation for employees
Team Coordinator (Former Employee) – Chandler, AZ – September 22, 2018
The staff at the branch I worked for was extremely helpful to new staff. There was a clearly defined operation of how important it was to work as a team, and it worked. Incentives to do your best were given.
Clueless management and lots of layoffs. There was a lot of emphasis on Republican politics; they would do well to spend some of the free food and boon-doggle money on better benefits and salaries for non-management employees.
Senior Loan Officer/MLO (Former Employee) – Kirkland, WA – May 11, 2018
Management was the reason I resigned. Both the office manager and the regional manager were not very helpful. The branch manager competed against me and actually took leads from me to bolster her pipeline. The regional manager stated he had an open door policy, but when it came to reality he did not.
I worked for PrimeLending for less than a year (laid off). But I loved the company, and the people. They actually practice what they preach. The office in which I worked had great synergy and work ethic. Also had fun events. Got things done, but also had time for a bit of levity in the workplace! The hardest part of the job?? Simply being laid off, but appreciated the experience nonetheless!
Company values it's employees!
It is a mortgage company, so naturally lay-offs will happen due to business cycles
