Dr. Dukes is an intelligent leader who fosters an environment of excellence at PGCC. Unfortunately, there is a problem among the top administrators of being cliquish. If you do not belong to the clique, your chances of being promoted or recognized are very low. This creates low employee morale and high turnover is certain areas. The high turnover rate causes many staff vacancies and the remaining staff are expected to jump in and complete tasks that were designed for 2 or sometimes 3 individuals. This is stressful because staff is expected to perform at high levels while doing the work of 2-3 people. It's frustrating.
