IT Technician in Township of Princeton, NJ

Learned various things while working at Princeton University. The people there made me feel welcomed and appreciated the work that I provided for them. The management was definitely one of the best that I have worked with. Helped me in so many ways.

Difficult to advance but prestigious company with a great reputation. Open minded director. Pay is not competitive. Location in downtown Princeton is a highlight.

A progressive-minded culture with a traditional organizational structure. Still relies on top down management style but supports equality and inclusion. Benefits are good but pay is below or just at average.
Manager in Princeton, NJ

If you can ignore the office politics and the hidden agendas, it's not a bad place to work. The benefits are pretty good, which the management is quick to point out every time it's noted that salaries are low for the industry and abysmal for the area. All colleagues are really well-educated; and there are learning opportunities as long as you're in the right "clique". If you're looking for someplace to move up the ladder at regular intervals, look elsewhere. Most of the young, promising employees just out of school leave after a couple of years so that they can advance their career.

I liked working there though at times it seemed there was more work than could be done by the small amount of staff. Really good place to work. Great benefits.
