It all depends on where you are in line. For example you can be number 1 or number 12 in line waiting to be dispatched it could take several hours to get a run. You can do one run it may pay $15 maybe $30 it depends on the run. Keep in mind you get paid by mileage not by the mileage and from calculated last location to next location. After you drop off you call back in for more the cycle begins all over again. You can end up burning 12 hours but driving a work total of 5

Know the difference between employee driver and independent contractor driver, you are 1099'd here they do not take taxes, you are responsible for all your own expenses
