Management could not be more helpful and understanding nothing but love for everyone that I worked with at procare. They were great taking the time to show me the ropes only wish I could have stayed longer.
A great place to start at in your pharmacy technician career. Not sure how they do it now but it use to work with you when needed a schedule change. Management need to be better from when i worked there because it was a lot of favoritism in the building. Unfair advancement to people.
Procare is a great place to work nice people and great management. Lots of work so the day goes fast and there is always something new to learn. Great benefits 401k. I am a long time employee and have seen how much the company has changed, getting bigger and better every day.
Working in the Procare billing department is challenging and fast paced in a good way. the staff is very supportive of one another and management and supervisors make themselves available when needed for questions, training, and support. They are very reasonable when it comes to scheduling and accommodating unforeseen needs. I once had an emergency and was allowed me to rearrange my schedule to all types of different hours spread across different days, as well as utulize vacation and sick time in tandem.
Scheduling, accomodating personal needs, team building, Perks (401k, Healthcare etc)
Always plenty of work to be done. Employees work well together in team and independent environments to complete heavy work loads. Lots of team bonding activities and work parties. Plenty of offered benefits. Flexible with scheduling.
Procare as a Long term care Pharmacy functioning as any bad retail business. Not a great place, they treat workers horribly. The managers treat workers as they are slaves, some pharmacy technicians fight over orders sometimes. This place is not organized at all.I think they need to change the way of treating workers over there.
poor management always limited staff .. always have to put in more work than you arre paid for. very judgmental staff. pharmacist are always bothered by phone calls. 1 pharmacist alway walked out and left due to being frustrated. penny is the worst
It was very rewarding working for a speciality pharmacy. To be able to help people manage their medication when sometimes they are overwhelmed with them and you can bring clearity to it. Getting to know the patient on a personal level.
There are no job security or advancement, Management does not care about their employee' it's a hostile environment to work in' there is no positive feedback between anyone at this pharmacy or positive encouragement. as a minority you are look down on belittled and treated as an outcasts..... Management is horrible, from the CEO to the COO. I could go on and on but my advice to you is DO NOT WORK FOR this pharmacy..........
While I enjoyed the people with whom I worked with, the hours were long and the appreciation was nonexistent. I would work some weeks as much as 30 hours overtime. The atmosphere was very much like high school. Rumors spread like wildfire and I was soon a target for those rumors. I learned how to work under extreme stress, which has helped in this field.
