Corporate Office (Current Employee) –  Olympia Fields, ILFebruary 14, 2019
I have worked for several similar agencies and I can say without a doubt that the current management is committed to quality improvement for both the clients and the DSP's. Best group of managers in place in the 3 years I've worked here.

They don’t care about the consumers.... several of their houses had scabies many workers were given a hundred dollars a day to work at the houses that had scabies they weren’t treated immediately. They never have food in the houses. Wear each other underwear, staff use their PRN medicine, Nurse never check on the clients when they have medical issues.
Pros

Great Place
House Manager (Former Employee) –  Olympia Fields, ILDecember 12, 2018
New management has really helped improve the culture and environment for this place. They advocate to give us more money and we got a raise in July. Management gave us the raise a month before it was even due to show their appreciation! The turnover is high so we get a lot of overtime which is good although they do monitor like hawks. All the homes got new furniture and freshly painted. New managers a the bomb!

Love the clients!!!
DSP (Current Employee) –  IllinoisMarch 30, 2018
The clients are great except some behaviors can be too much to handle. My coworkers are great except a few who don’t do anything! Management is poor! They’ll throw you under the bus if they get the chance! Pay is poor for the work you do. The outings are great and the food is good! Helping the clients to learn new things and seeing the smiles on their faces is the only thing that keep most here. It would be an ok first job, but wouldn’t recommend long term. Benefits aren’t that great either.
Pros
The clients, good food, and great outings.
Cons
Poor management, poor pay, and not great benefits.

Developmental Trainer (Former Employee) –  Steger, ILAugust 11, 2017
This place isn't a good place to work. They don't give raises and work you as if your a slave and don't appreciate there employees hard work and dedication. They don't give a care about their clients at all. Place needs to be closed done and shall never open back up if anyone who is working in upper management or at there workshop has anything to do with operating the company. This was a horrible experience and I wouldn't advise anyone to deal with progressive.
Pros
The clients are lovable

Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (Current Employee) –  Olympia Fields, ILJune 4, 2017
This job consumes your life with no chance of advancement or pay increase. You're always "on-call" and because staff turn over rate is so high do to lack of pay and lack of training, you're always at work with the clients which makes it hard to be in the office doing your paperwork. Also, the lack of diversity in upper management all of Human resource positions.
Pros
No set hours
Cons
Always being called into work

Dsp's staff. House managers and QIPD deserve all the credit for doing the hard work. Upper management get the big bucks and do nothing but hand down stupid orders.
Pros
Helping others
