They do not see the value of their employees
They have a belief that the value people before all else. However, I found this to not be the case. It is also impossible to change the minds of executives if you somehow get on thier wrong side. They see only what percieve you bring to the table today and not what you have accomplished over time.

The bonus is not easy to obtain
Quality is very grey, it is very much the opinion of the person grading you. The bonus us gained by a combination of your utilization, (in other words, in ratio to how many hours your clocked in how many of those are you actually speaking to someone) your quality, and a two dozen other factors.
The bonus structure is very hard to understand, they break it into over 20 categories that are not easy to understand. In collections, you aren't rewarded for how much you collected - which makes no sense.

The reports sent everyday to tell you where you stand are always incorrect, everyone is well aware of this, you have to pretty much exceed what you think is on there and hope by month end you made it. The work isn't easy, the bonus makes it worth it if you make it. But a lot of people don't, I easily feel like its the company low key saving money so they only pay you out an hourly.

The good is that they are unbelievable with schedule flexibility. I am in school, they are very helpful and understand schedules change every few weeks.

Great place to work
Overall, working for Progressive was fantastic. I enjoyed learning new skills and having the opportunity to grow. The only reason I left was because of a new manager that did not embody the company values and I did not feel I could continue working for this person. If I have the opportunity to go back and work for someone else, I will.

Okay
Good company to work with. Always willing to work with your schedule. Only downfall is I started out with a part time class, their first ever part time class in Customer Payment Assistance and they didn’t know what to. Should’ve been more organized and clear what benefits we had coming in as part time. Didn’t get PTO with part time.

If you enjoy call centers this is perfect for you.
The company is truly great, if your the type of person that enjoys call centers I would definitely recommend. I stay because I’m hoping to get a position that’s less restrictive, but sadly I don’t think it’s going to happen anytime soon. They are really strict on time, so that makes me anxious a bit. Of your an agent on the phones your very micromanaged. But they treat their employees very good. And if a call center is your thing you will love coming to work every day. They try to make it as fun as possible, not a bad job really.

Good
Good company to work for. They offer free snacks, drinks, etc. They see your hard work and they reward you for it. Managers are awesome with an amazing support system. Sitting down all day and cruel customers was the downside.

Ok job
Pretty good company, but there's a lot of micro management. Good job if you're working remote/ in the field. Depending on which brand you work for its a great opportunity.

If you are one of the cool crowd
If you are kind of the cool crowd then they talk to you like a person . If you are not your questions go unanswered and they forget you are even there. Lots of favoritism and phony people .

Do not really care about you . You are pretty much ignored or made to feel inferior. Kind of embarrassing when you ask questions and no one bothers to answer .or you are given a condescending attitude .

Was a great company but is headed down hill as they grow
When I started with the company there were promises of promotions as we grew, but as we grew there were very few promotions other than at a senior level. The work life balance and managers were excellent a few years ago but have deteriorated consistently. If you want to be micromanaged this is the job for you!

Amazing company for anyone to work for!!
Progressive is one the best company I've ever worked for. The dress code is super casual 99% of the time. The management is amazing. The executives really care about their customers and employees and regularly give out prizes and rewards. There is a 3 week paid training for Customer Service Agents that fully immerses you into what you'll be doing on the call floor. There are two locations, one in Utah and one in Arizona, and they allow you to transfer if you move. You can be cross trained in different areas based on your skill and the benefits are amazing and cheap. It really is like a family. #ProgFam

Honest Thoughts
The process was really seamless, upon hiring they send you to the corporate office in Draper, UT. Most of the employees are religious, and the culture of the office shows. Its really uncomfortable honestly. Training was a week long. I was in a group that was hired to complete the team, we had to return two weeks later as an entire team. Training wasnt good, I think we spent a lot of the time talking about procedures and processes that weren't created yet. Along with meeting with other parts of the company that wasn't important to my job functions we ate out alot. Training also made us participate in a group activity. It was hiking, Im a city girl, hiking is not interesting to me: I felt pressure to go. Anyway, The job I had on paper was great. The job function required us to to travel to high risk areas in our designated region. First it was all great, but they made a transition where one of team members became a supervisor. I felt that the supervisor wasnt trained enough or the position went to the wrong person. Every time I asked a question it was always: I dont know, Or let me check with soso... Ive always worked with supervisors that were confident in the knowledge. One thing that stood out was that the supervisor and manager wanted me to communicate more with the other team members... I didnt see a point, We each covered our own areas as individuals, so as a "team" we dont really work as one. As a compliance professional, I have always worked by myself, I like it that way. Also, we didnt receive a yearly bonus. There reason was because they didnt want to reward us for - more...

I became very bored
I have honestly reached a place in my life where I cant deal with being told when I can and cant take a break especially to the restroom. Great job for someone who loves to talk and needs a paycheck. You also HAVE to say certain things before you get off the phone, or it affects your metrics with QA.
