The work hours aren't flexible, it's either 9-6 or 8-5. Lunch time is flexible & if you have appts they are flexible in that sense

8-5 M-F get your work done and you ay have some spare time for the day. Somedays you are busy and work more hours to get to job done.
Easily flexible in the 8 to 6 window. Other modifications (like working 4 10s) take special approval, but are usually OK. The idea is to be available when people want to talk on the phone.

That was an issue for me as I had one weekday and one weekend day off, it wasn't back to back. I had to use paid time off if I wanted two days off in a row
