Keep on your toes here. The people that make up the company are incredible. The team is incredibly smart and the mission/goal of the company is essential. The leadership on the other hand is all over the place and rarely rewards hard work. Expectations are unrealistic and zero accountability. The "little guy" will always take the heat for any error. The best way to get ahead here is keep your head down, do your work and go unnoticed.
Great place to learn basics of a start up in a laid back start up atmosphere. Learned what a start up is like and the amount of time needed to succeed. Management needs to offer more training, employees are generally nice their. The hardest part of the job is having to pretty much learn about the company on your own with very little guidance. The most enjoyable part of the job is the Director of Patient Care, she has a constant upbeat funny caring personality that really makes you want to work hard.
The management placed a lot of trust on the employees. We worked fairly independently -- there is no micro-management involved. Being a small company, each individual takes on a variety of roles. This way we feel that we are constantly learning, growing and contributing. The colleagues are very team-oriented and friendly.
