Fun Environment with flexibility and Ping Pong Table and Gym to relieve stress and work out. Fun and organized place to work
Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Former Employee) – Bellevue, WA – August 6, 2018
A typical day is being on over 30 calls and answering about over 50 emails sometimes over 100. Got the exposure about SoW, Hiring and On boarding Process. Management was very friendly and comfortable to approach for any queries.
Great potential for Advancement with greatt people.
Billing Analyst/Client Support Specialist (Current Employee) – Atlanta, GA – May 24, 2018
My typical day at work starts off with checking my emails and prioritizing the days deliverables . In addition I would also prepare for daily meetings and gather necessary documents pertaining to that specific meeting to insure a resolution is reached. Management is very approachable and willing to build off of creative ideas. The work place is collaborative. I think the hardest part of my job is prioritizing at adhoc request while managing daily deliverables. The most enjoyable part of my job is affirmation from upper management regarding good work.
It's a tech sweatshop & the Management is HORRIBLE
Data Architect/Data Modeler (Current Employee) – Sacramento, CA – February 28, 2018
They favor H1B employees and people on work visas so that they can make them work long hours, treat them badly, and get everything done thru' them. The managers don't have any technical expertise and they take on projects which they have no idea how to execute..this place is a disaster. Run Away from this one...
iOS Developer (Contract) (Former Employee) – Denver, CO – February 25, 2018
People are generally pleasant to work with, however Prokarma relies a great deal on foreign labor. Management feels entitled to only "rock star" developers and if they can't find one, they'll get someone from India whose body shop will definitely provide a resume and forged certifications saying they are one. If you're American-born, you will be used to clean up the messes they make and thrown out once they're finished with you.
Technical Delivery Manager/Scrum Master (Former Employee) – Redmond, WA – January 17, 2018
The people I worked with directly were great. I also had a very good manager. The problem with Pro Karma is communications with the corporate offices in Omaha and the rest of the company. There is a clash of corporate cultures and many times one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. As an FTE working in the Redmond Wa office I was on the bench between contracts getting paid full wages and the various HR teams and the practice were not on the same page about what to do with me. So after spending too much time on the bench they had to roll me off. So while I do recommend Pro Karma as a place to work, I will add the caveat that they can let people slip through the cracks so be aware.
Lead UX | UI / Interaction designer (Former Employee) – Denver, CO – October 4, 2017
This was a great place to learn the basics of Native iOS and Android design. You get to work closely with dev teams and project managers. Unfortunately there is a lot of backstabbing high school drama, and it is not what a professional company should reward, yet the people that work the least and complain the most make it to the top.
Director of Sales (Former Employee) – Sacramento, CA – September 13, 2017
ProKarma had great ideas for how to execute IT solutions in their space, but did a poor job of execution on their projects. Top performers are treated well and are allocated all of the resources which keeps them on the top. New employees or people that are trying to build new business are given the left-overs making it incredibly difficult to build or grow or achieve set milestones. Management does not recognize this and does not promote the employee loyalty necessary to overcome the hurdles.
Talent Acquisition Manager (Current Employee) – Portland, OR – June 29, 2017
ProKarma is still stuck in an old school work mentality, their office is very outdated, there's very little collaboration, and it's extremely difficult to recruit on certain positions as they are across the country which means the account managers are across the country as well.
Little supervision, freedom, free Friday breakfast
No collaboration, watching the clock day in and out
Senior Software Test Engineer (Former Employee) – Raidurg Village – June 2, 2017
I thankful to Prokarma as i have learnt new technologies and the good work environment to work.Supportive and encouraging management.I have faced a challenging work and targets and succeeded in delivering the product within the timelines.
Project Manager (Current Employee) – Redmond, WA – April 5, 2017
My experience has been great. There are times when it is not clear who I report to. As a consultant it is easy to forget the company you actually work for. A challenge with many firms I have worked for. Definitely an area for growth with ProKarma. Overall it is a good company with a favorable compensation package and healthy interactions when you can get ahold of someone!!
Proactive in looking for roles at all time to limit time between engagements
