Management is unresponsive and unfocused. Terminations are frequent that disrupts the team. If you bring in sales it is unrewarded. Bring on-board staff that is not the least expensive but the best. Not third party cheap off shore staff you need to wait months to get due to visa issues. Reward the team for juts more than hours and who you know.

Hard working staff and very helpful with less stress. The management team always develop and implement training programs for staff in order to optimize their potential. Also a year end bonus for staff.
Contracts appeared to be random and sent to site as "warm" bodies. Not enough hours to be billable to obtain bonuses. Was an employee not a contractor. I would have served myself better by contracting with them.

While working at Prolifics was a great experience professionally, the lack of management is excruciating, disapproval of CEO is about 85%. No one is truly happy about what they do, no chance of growth even if promised.
You will be working hard at client sites away from base location most of the time. You will get some on bench time in between projects. If you are busy not easy to switch to pursue other technologies.

No comments on managements but lost plenty of talented resources. They made no effort to obtain them with counter offers.

PROS: The pay is nice. The ability to work from home (on select opportunities). Laid back atmosphere. CONS: This company likes to applaud your work whenever they get the chance, but regardless of how well you do, you are always on the chopping block. The management at Prolifics is non-existent. The entry-level workers have a better understanding of how a company should be run, while the higher ups do absolutely nothing but create conference calls and say how well they are doing (when in actuality its not even close to reality). The blame game. Nobody takes responsibility for doing a poor job. It always has to be someone else's fault. The people who do a terrible job are only there because they have been with the company from the beginning, yet have no proper qualifications of working there. Advice: If you are hired by Prolifics, I would highly recommend that you are constantly searching for another job as a backup plan.
This company is an IBM partner and a big part of what I worked on with clients was implementing portal technology. However, Prolifics as a company has a terrible portal, which is telling. We also didnt have a project management tool to track project status. Very odd and made communication more difficult than it needed to be
