Just did a phone interview except they just started an online tool. Answer some basic questions. When your done they give you a number and a pin to call. Asked like 4 or 5 questions. Like, Did you ever deal with bad coworker/patient? If so when and what happened?
They are buying everything up, yet have budget cuts and have had to lay off employees. Why not take care of the employees first and then buy up the entire city?
What is the preemployment wellness check like? Blood test, physical, urine drug screen?
Blood test, urine test (drugs and nicotine), eye test (color blind too) and a regular physical.

Orientation was 8 hours. Patient care is 12 hour shifts. Other shifts work 8 hours (security, environmental services, ect.)

You get approx. 7.5 hours of time off per pay. This is used for sick and vacation days. It's all in one bank.
You can call off 2 times (if you work 12 hour shifts) or 3 times (if you work a 8 hour shift) in a 6 month period. Anything more than that will start the discipline process. 6 months after your first call off it drops off your record.
