Marketing Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILMarch 3, 2017
I worked as a marketing administrative assistant for Pronto Progress. There was a lack of communication and vision from management. People do not get a lot of training and they sort of leave developers and administrators on their own.

Clock in, Clock out. Write a report at the end of every shift. Accomplishing tasks as assigned day by day. The hardest part of the job is acquiring the understanding of the expectations and requirements.

The organization lacks management therefore lacks solid vision and leadership. Due to the organization being so small and there being three facilities located in FL, IL and headquarters in WI, communication is abysmal or absent.

Work typically involved in coming in, calling your customers, working very quickly, and dealing with management.

The high paced environment allowed me to learn a lot of different things really quickly.

Coworkers were amazing group of people who you were able to hang out with and ask questions.

Hardest part of the job was dealing with customers and traveling.

The most enjoyable was getting critical projects working.
Pros
High paced environment
Cons
Dealing with management and traveling.
