The trainings and meetings are paid and the RBT course is paid for and also the benefits but if someone actually helps you get them is the question

Basically overall it’s a great opportunity but you have to deal with a lot and you won’t have good support from families or your supervisors they only care about making their money. I would’ve appreciated more help and when I needed something I had to wait for someone to get back with me I tried to get help with dental care for a couple of months and someone got back to me when I left the company.

No support from supervisors, No support from families, no gas mileage reimbursement

Very pleasent

Recently got hired as a BT, and have had a great experience so far. I’ve been thoroughly supported and feel at home. I’m looking to continue with them and in the ABA field

Good vibes

I have not begun working here yet but the interview and onboarding process so far has been very smooth. As for the interview process, I received an offer at the very end of the second interview, and got a good vibe from the interviewer. The onboarding process has also been very self explanatory; there is not a lot that you have to do on your part.

Productive and focused environment

Good company for what it offers. Certainly not a place to maintain a long term career. Get the work experience and move forward. Management is a bit finicky at times as well.

Supportive environment but a little disorganized

Management and staff are respectful and supportive, but upper management is a little disorganized. The work is meaningful and the pay is good, but you have to advocate for yourself or you're likely to be swept under the rug.

I wish they paid us enough to get paid livable wages. $20 and hour? can barely afford groceries, gas and rent in Nashville. No room for growth, lots of burnout.

unprofessional and unproductive

I think the company did not value the RBT's or the BCBA's. they only value pocketing the insurance. On a deeper level, the BCBAs at this location were not good. They were very "cliquey" and the atmosphere was affected as a result. you would think a company specializing in helping children and simply making the world a better place would be filled with compassionate, welcoming, and professional people. The company as a whole does not look out for their RBT's. I would advise finding another ABA place. This one is very unethical.

Poor work environment.

Proud moments organization has terrible with staff communication. They do not show compassion for their clients. They continuously hire BT's with less than adequate experience which results in high turn over rates and clients going months without service. Their compensation is lower than most NYC agencies. They do not provide appropriate compensation for staff training.

Look elsewhere

My experience at Proud Moments was truly disappointing. The lack of communication and timely responses from the company to its employees was frustrating. The management seemed ineffective and lacked value. High turnover rates and a low client base further compounded the challenges. Unfortunately, there was no compensation for drives, and the absence of a sick policy made the situation even worse. Overall, my time at Proud Moments was marked by a lack of support and an overall negative experience.

Work environment and life/work balance

I love working here. I'm happy! My mental health have improved significantly and I'm just grateful I got an opportunity to be here, make an impact on the families and at the same time grow as a professional. 100/10 recommend this place :)

Don’t work here

I worked as an RBT at this clinic and management was terrible the center manager is very rude and that’s the first thing you will notice when you tour the center. Most of the BCBAS will offer negative feedback and will not be there to support RBTs when a child is difficult. If you try to report anything to HR goodluck because more than likely you will receive retaliation for speaking up. This company seems to be run by a group of friends or family. I wouldn’t trust it

Pays a lot but not worth it

I worked here for a few years. They paid significantly more than other companies in the area… but not worth it. Totally money hungry, puts billable hours ahead of everything else. Don’t expect to get paid for anything not billable either.

The pay is not enough to overcome the focus on the almighty insurance bill vs the outcome of the child.

I felt as if the turnover rate was high due to the fact that I was hired within 10 minutes of my interview back in January. From my experience here, I can say that for the first five months of me working here, I was not getting many hours and my client’s parents cancelled very frequently so yeah. Money was and still is tight. I got a full time position but I haven’t been safety care trained to take on the clients that I currently have to there’s that so yeah there’s that

Work with kids

Training opportunities and friendly staff. i was only given one client to work w/ so pay was low. Not too much guidance from BCBA. Not sure if I believe in ABA.

Has potential

I only worked for a short time. Credentialing took awhile which delayed the time to get started. I also didn’t have enough cases or rbts. It might have been my location

Administration needs work

Working with kids is really rewarding, but this company is a mess. Their review process is unfair- you’re penalized for things that are not in your control- like someone else not doing a review. There is no communication across admin to those in the field No pay for client cancellations and an unrealistic 90% cancellation policy. No sense of community, you are an island on your own tethered to your BCBA. Don’t sign up to work in the Carolina’s.

Amazing families you get the pleasure to work with, supportive BCBA’s and great pay. Very rewarding place to work. Highly recommend if you are planning to become a BCBA

It was a good company that most of my supervision from BCBA was held online. I was only have one client however the company was really good and all the admin staff was really good
