My situation is similar to one exposed before. After almost 3 years working and doing the best in my performance I notice favoritism from my manager ( 2nd. Shift) towards his homies and giving me only bad references toward my evaluations but it doesn' preclude me to do my work well done. I decided to get more license in other modality and requested either a part time, perdiem or leave of absentee without any result and only give me option of go to school or resign which I did. After I tried to get back to the place of my best job opportunity. Is sad to know that I was not the only one with this kind of dissapointment.

I was let go due to reconstruction in the ER, after 27 years of employment, cancer pt also, even though my supervisor knew I was to have a 3rd surgery and needed my insurance, they still let me go. I wish Providence followed their compassion statement for employees!

Micromanaging, bullying, backstabbing, hostility from middle mgt. Good ole boy network with undereducated middle mgt that promote discrimination. Out the old hangers on. Don’t waste your time. You’ll leave anyway.

Injured on the job, went through Sedgwick which was horrible! I live with chronic pain in my right arm, wrist and joints of my fingers. Wanted to return to work several times but supervisors wouldn’t allow it.

Layoffs, reductions in force and reorganizations are a common occurance at Providence. I anticipate that this will continue as the merger of Providence and Saint Joseph Health System continues. I wish the mission statement would apply to employees.

I got hurt on the job as a RN and found out that Providence used an independent insurance group called Sedgewick. I had to get a lawyer and fight them for 4 1/2 years to get compensation from them. I still live with chronic neck, left arm and back pain. I am unable to work full time and now work for 1/2 the amount of money I made before the injury.

I was fired with no explanation. I had come to work my shift, where I was met at the door, then escorted to my locker to clean out then escorted back out the front door. I called HR a year later to ask for reason of termination. Lady in HR pulled file and the was no reason put on paper but said No rehire.
