You will be understaffed always. If you are a nurse- it is just not worth putting your license on the line to work even one hour in this place. If you are an aide, be prepared to take care of twice as many people as you should be.

I’ve worked for providence place drums for only a short time, but I have to say my experience has been nothing short but amazing! I’ve been in the healthcare field for over 20 years and have been to many facilities working agency I find that staff as well as management to be caring and empathetic! The opportunities for advancement are endless! Management is commendable and I think treats a situation on an individual basis! I love my job and my co-workers! Occasionally we are short staffed as any medical facility but what separates providence drums from other facilities is that all staff step up and work together to accomplish what needs to be done including management! I’ve seen the director herself plunge toilets when needed, I’ve watched the DOW give showers, when needed you never see that in other facilities! So if your looking for a family oriented place to work I highly recommend joining providence drums

Management is not horrible. Expeditions are high. Resident care is top notch. It’s obvious (by some negative reviews) that employees get upset, when supervisors address concerns or complaints. Such a shame that a great company gets these unfair reviews. Let them take care of our elderly. They need Providence Place.

Management are incompetent and lazy. Providence needs to realize the reason all the good employee leave. Look hard at their direct supervisor.. or any management at all.

Management pretends to listen to you but never make any significant changes, you will never get any help from management and they are clueless how things are run there but just sit in their offices all day. The ones that suffer are the ones that cannot speak up

This is a horrible environment. The culture is that of drama and backstabbing which is fostered by the management. Dover cannot keep nurses more than a year or management more than six months.
