The work is really interesting, but hard to pick up institutionalized knowledge. Pretty laid back environment, if you can learn on your own, you'll do fine.

I was a contract employee and worked through an agency. I came to work everyday and did my job and out of nowhere my assignment was terminated. No warnings or conversations. Nothing. A reason for the termination was not provided either. This place is a revolving door. People come in and last a few days then they're gone. Highest turnover I've ever seen. Production manager and employees are good people but watch your back.

Every company has room for improvement. But I truly do love my job. My bosses are decent too. Being a female in a male dominated industry, It's hard to find equity! And Provisur treats me equal! If I raise concerns they're heard. I had a part catcher that wasn't being used in the way. I told my boss and it was removed immediately! My co workers are supportive and HR is great too... They make you feel part of a team!

Negatives: Plant manager talks down to his employees and even talks about them behind their back to others. Toxic environment. Unfair treatment of new staff. I often watch new staff get set up for failure. Every man for himself mentality. They are offered little to no help and are given tasks that are too difficult for their skillset. If you offer to help the person management will rip into you for not completing your task fast enough.Training program is a joke! You're graded by someone that has no clue how the job is done. Designated trainers are nowhere to be found. Often texting, watching YouTube, or making online purchases instead of supporting the staff that they claim is "terrible" and "unskilled" If you need a solution to your problem they often advise you to email someone that will never answer you or offer a concrete solution to your problem. Often put down by coworkers negative attitude and lack of respect for the workplace. Office staff only comes to the production floor to ask you for something they can't do themselves or to complain how you don't do your job fast enough. Get ready for long weeks, long nights, and weekends and management won't even lift a finger for you.Positive: decent pay for area, decent benefits, you can make it at this company if you don't care what people think about you and if you are extremely self sufficient and independent.

The pay is ok and the work is easy. It’s just dealing with management and coworkers. The have they pick of the litter if you not apart of that you won’t survive. It’s seems like you can do anything correct and still don’t get respect or acknowledgment of management or your co workers. When they out to get you they going to get you. I mean Sabotage and everything. If you can deal with the constant harassment and work place bullying you may survive. As far as open door policy. You can’t do it because it will be put out there on the shop floor. They just messy and toxic unhealthy for a work environment
