Work & Life Balance

Special Agent in Bethesda, MD

RE: Prudential
Working at Prudential was extremely helpful to my career and family. I was able to purchase Life Insurance and retirement packages for my family. Prudential paid in full for my licenses for selling insurance and investment products. I got to work with a lot of experience investment managers and professional staff. A typical day would start with a staff meeting, outline the goals for the week and the day. We would have appreciate time for those where were able to meet and go above and beyond their set goals. The management staff was always supported and present for each person. They would share their experiences and any skills that they believe would help you in your sales. The hardest part of the job was sales. I do not believe I am a sales person nor do well with cold call selling. The most enjoyable part of the job is helping a family set up their financial needs. I enjoyed working with the experiences professionals at Prudential. I especially appreciate the appreciation conferences, one of which was in Los Vegas, where I took my mother with me.

good boss who is able to listen, can always ask questions to. usually responds very quickly to texts. very fair and honest. Decent pay when I don't do a lot of hard work in the first place.

Flexibility is nice. Management not really supportive. Everyone is trying to make it to the top. The hardest workers can be left jobless without notice.

Favors to rotational programs in advancement. Hard for individuals to grown and get promoted. Pay is lacking compared to peers within the industry. Good benefits and healthcare etc.

For they pay you can make more doing almost anything. They don’t communicate well. Want you to work all shift with no brakes. Over charge for a cheap uniform then want it back but want to keep they money . Wouldn’t recommend.
