Great place when I started, became too government-like later on.
Written by Senior Level IT (Former Employee) from Washington, DC on October 29, 2018
When I started it was a very fun, collaborative place to work. I was there for over a decade, and when I left it had become a bureaucratic nightmare. At one point everyone did what they had to do to get stuff done, but towards the end of my tenure it had become a very government-like atmosphere. Very little innovation; basically everyone just covering - more... their butts. So hard to get anything real done. SEC's oversight doesn't help - just makes everyone worried about their job. And the darned MEMO'S. I didn't think they were still a real thing in business before I got there. I spent half my time ... - less
ProsGood pay/benefits.
ConsOverly beuracratic. Basically functions as a federal agency.
