Here's what people have asked and answered about working for and interviewing at Public Storage.
I was relieved from my job because I refuse to do others work . We where trained and we left the district
Then came back . Because we where good at what we did 1.2 % deq. We ran 3 different properties in 3 different states. I’m a disabled veteran and was told I could be fired for any reason, because the district manager didn’t like us.

It takes like 3 weeks from the time you hit submit application on ideed. It's actually a long process and it's annoying. We're working for public storage, not the white house or some top office firm :/ it literally took 3 weeks to get a background check clearing and do 2 interviews

My felony was 20 years ago and it did not show up on my background check. However, being a registered sex offender did show up and my offer for employment was rescinded.

Great. The least stressful interview around. Basically ask a few (very few ) questions about your background and work history. I think the goal is to see if you are a “people person” with a willingness to learn. My interview was geared more toward’s telling me about the job, etc.

Yes. You will get paid less in lieu of the regular hourly rate though. I never did live onsite when I worked for PS. But my coworkers that did said it was worth it, as everything is paid, utilities.....Not only Property Managers get to live onsite, I knew 3 Relief Managers that did as well.
