The people I worked with were great sometimes the ground level and admin are not on same page. Not for those just trying to make a pay check. The kids need a lot of patience but they are wonderful.

HR doesn’t care about your wants or needs, bad leadership. Short staffed and not realistic about expectations. Really unprofessional and money spent unequally across the district

Pay is too low for the position. Management has got to be more respectful of employees. More and more people keep leaving. Benefit cost for employee is reasonable.

PCSSD strives to take care of students and staff. The shortage of substitute teachers is a big challenge, but staff members work hard to fill in as needed, to put the needs of students first. An interesting part about the job is the ever-changing strategies to improve test scores.
Driver in North Little Rock, AR
on November 29, 2021
I worked here and they pay good. You start out as a sub and then you can bid for a route months later. Management don't back you up. They let the parents run them and they have the drivers doing the most. When you don't have help you can't be ran like they were running most of the drivers. They would put you on a run even if you don't know the area and just hand you a map. Basically saying get the job done. Most of the drivers never pre-trip their bus (when that's what you train us to do), but they will be worried about the shoes that you hve on your feet (when busses tires falling off the bus while driving) 🤔. Very petty...I quit because I don't have time this place was so unorganized with new management that don't have a clue how to run this company. Coming from a person that has been a driver for 16 years.
