hot work place
Production Worker/Warehouse (Former Employee) –  Alpine, UTAugust 14, 2018
Purple is not a fair or family orianted place like a few years ago. They will work you till you quit, or break yourself trying to make youre way up from the lowest scale. They dont let hard working good people move up hardly ever, they rather take new off the street people to take higher up positions, but the the low paid but hard worked people have to train their own supervisers.
They made us sign a legel paper saying they can fire you for reasons or no reasons at all, they have a big turn over rate due to the upper managment by not helpping or trying to help out the lower paid but the ones doing all the hardest labor work!
Pros
4 day weekend
Cons
insurence is nothing great, no communication at all, workers get worked way to hard

Purple branding, complete to the core
Customer delight Guru (Current Employee) –  Alpine, UTJuly 13, 2018
Much like the amazing branding and the fun tone used in all campaigns, Purple People know how to play and how to get the job done.

Even on the stress filled days and busy seasons the team I work with are always helpful and supportive of each other. The managers I have worked with have been great, fun and friendly, oh, awesome too.

I love working at Purple.
Pros
Fun environment with amazing team mates
Cons
not enough money

Manufacturing atmosphere is very dirty/unhealthy
Line worker (Former Employee) –  Alpine, UTMay 11, 2018
Don't bother with this place, its a terrible place to work. However, most of the workers are nice and helpful. Management sucks though, most of them don't know how to treat the workers, and they have power trips! Nepotism is rampant, so watch out, they will get you fired. Gossip is also a real problem as well, people will say things (make things up) to get you fired, if there is something they don't like about you.

Worst management I've ever worked for
Production Laborer (Former Employee) –  Grantsville, UTApril 5, 2018
The management is absolutely terrible. If you're not friends with the managers you probably won't last long or you will not move up in the company at all. Some of the leads/trainers hardly work at all. If you're going to work here, definitely do not work weekend night shift.
Pros
Work 3 days a week
Cons
Horrible management and a lot of drama

Not So Great
Recieving Associate (Former Employee) –  Alpine, UTMarch 5, 2018
Purple was good at first. Until we got a new manager, then things went down hill. They was a lot of favoritism toward many employees. I feel those who really worked hard weren't appriciated like they should have been.

Not a bad place if you are not looking for a career
Production Worker (Former Employee) –  Grantsville, UTFebruary 19, 2018
Not a horrible place to work if you just do your job and go home for your 3 days. It is not a good place if you want to work for a company that cares about its employees. If you work in upper management or the office they will treat you great but if you work on the production floor you are just a number that is just there to make them money. The production manager and his assistant managers were awesome as they would do a lot of stuff for their people like doughnuts and lunches and a BBQ and all out of their own pocket which showed they actually cared about their people. The people on the production floor were the reason I worked there as long as I did because they were great. Everything else not so much.
Pros
4 day weekends

Laborer (Former Employee) –  3226 Sheep Ln, Grantsville, UT 84074July 31, 2017
Machines breaking down orders not being filled and weeks of work lost and all around just a mess.

For a new company it has a lot if more growing to do.

Most unethical company I have ever worked for
Production Worker (Former Employee) –  Alpine, UTJuly 28, 2017
If you are related to somebody in this company, you have it made. If you are not, watch your tail, because you mean nothing more to them than one ant means to the colony, you are easily expendable.
What once was a great company, has turned into a company who cares nothing about it's employees, has too many bosses who know nothing about how to treat people, and even less about how to run a business.
What once was a great company to work for, has turned into a place who cares little about anything but the top tier of the hierarchy. This is by far the most unethical company I have ever worked for.
Pros
3 or 4 day work week, depending on your shift
Cons
Management, unhealthy work environment. Possible toxicities.
