12 hours a day is a norm! and of course, one works on Sundays default to ready up for Monday meeting/ reports! If you get Sat work free, god bless - run on the Hudson!

Depends on where you work within the firm. Client service staff tend to work longer hours, depending on the time of year and whether its 'busy season', you could work 10, 12, 15 hours and other times only 8 - its never 9-5. Internal firm staff will work a more standard workday, perhaps 8-10 hours on average.
