We are at a pivotal moment in technology — one that will define generations to come. Industries — new and existing — are undergoing a digital transformation. And Qualcomm stands at the intersection of the key trends and technologies that are accelerating that transition. The time is now — for Qualcomm.

Qualcomm is the world’s leading wireless technology innovator and the driving force behind the development, launch, and expansion of 5G. When we connected the phone to the internet, the mobile revolution was born. Now, we’re bringing the benefits of mobile to new industries, including automotive, IoT (i.e. industrial, consumer and edge networking), and computing, and are leading the way to a world where everyone and everything is intelligently connected.

Our leadership — from mobile to the connected intelligent edge — is driving demand for our industry-leading roadmap of relevant technologies. This is creating a significant opportunity for growth as we continue to successfully execute on our diversification strategy. Our expertise in 5G, AI, and beyond is going to help change everything, from reinventing businesses to transforming transportation to reimagining our cities.

The time is now for global innovation unlike anything we’ve seen.

Great work environment. Manager was always willing to help and give encouragement whenever either me or other coworkers needed it. Workplace was very relaxed, but everyone got their work done.

finance department is fast paced. prepare to work at an intense pace and long hours. promotion is mostly fair - but also depends on how late you are able to stay. promotion is more difficult for women with kids who have more restrictive schedules in the evening.
Hardware Engineer in San Diego, CA

The pay is great, but you'll end up working long hours mon-fri and sometimes on the weekends. Work here as your first job to gain the experience in a fast paced company.
Security Officer in San Diego County, CA
on May 16, 2023
I worked for them through another company and when the opportunity arose I chose not to work for them directly. I didn't like the way they're management treated their subordinates. I also didn't like the way the Qualcomm employees treated employees that were from other companies contracted to work there.
Senior Manager, Operations in San Diego, CA

Best place to work, great people, great opportunities and very competitive compensation. The company is in the cutting edge of technology and has great future on the changing tech environment.
