QC has it’s high and and it’s lows, sometimes there’s a lot of work sometimes there isn’t, there’s to many drivers and not enough freight, you will have a pay issue, and there’s always a reason why there is and not even corporate can fix it, you have to ask for work when they know your home off, and after COVID things still aren’t rolling, management does understand family emergencies and if your sick and need time off

What is the best part of working at the company?I have been with QC for 2 years. Things have not always been easy, but I've always appreciate the fact that when I have concerns about my pay, my assignments, etc., I can always go to my terminal manager or even the regional manager and get my concerns addressed. The benefits are top shelf and as a company driver I'm only out a few nights a week. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?I don't think it's any more stressful than any other company. However, there have been several times when I reached out for answers and assistance over the weekend to speak with the person on call and found that I was on my own, because the on call person could not be reached. This has happened to me 3 times. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?I'm pleased with my work environment at the Charleston, SC, terminal. We have a good Driver Manager, Head Mechanic and Terminal Manager. We're a pretty tight knit group. I don't like using the term "family" for work settings, but we have a pretty stress free work setting.What is a typical day like for you at the company?I get a work order, I roll out, I deliver, I return to the yard, I go home.

If you are not part of the good ole boy system you might as well pack it up the driver managers aside from one whom they swamp with work will sand bag you meaning you won't get any decent runs and you will work harder for less

What is the best part of working at the company?Some of the drivers are nice. Extreme amount of different rules and different managers to deal with. Trucks are turned down frustratingly slow. You are basically treated like an incompetent baby who constantly needs babysitting.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Trucks too slow and trying to get to places in a timely manner.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Extreme baby-sitting culture of grown adults trying to get a job done.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Load, drive, block traffic in slow trucks, other people on the road frustrated at you.

Customers not needing the product. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Good terminal, the co workers were all good people. Very professional and by the book enforcement. What is a typical day like for you at the company?5 hour drive to lima, load waiting on me most of the time. Next day delivery.

Toxic, chaotic work environment

QC is overall a terrible company to work for. The job responsibilities are inconsistent and ever-changing due to immense lack of communication from management. My job was very chaotic there and I was underpaid. Management would literally say the words "there's not much we can do" for any challenge brought to them. So carless and condescending as well. No employee appreciation besides a team kickoff once a year. I dreaded going to work every day and would have mental breakdowns regularly. The one benefit of working here was flexible hours and ability to work remote. Not worth it at all! Save yourself the misery and find a better company.

What is the best part of working at the company?Management likes to dispatch new drivers to longest run 2nd. For example I was often sent to New Jersey for my first run and and than I would need to load up at facility to run to Connecticut afterwards. I was always running short on time.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Not enough pay, trainers don’t have patience.What is a typical day like for you at the company?14-16 hour days. You would be dispatch to Connecticut for your 2nd run
