The work environment was fast and competitive. If you don't help the store produce results, your hours were cut. If you could not handle pitching the promotion and convincing customers to buy more, your hours were cut. The culture seemed almost irrelevant to the job, as weekly we were quizzed on trivia about the company just in case an executive walked in and tried to quiz one of us to see how much we knew.
