Awful
Very cliquey. Not inclusive to anyone junior. Internship was awful and treated us very badly. There were also quite a few mice in the office so having lunch was not a nice experience.

Don’t recommend
There are some perks with working for Quintessentially, like drinks on Friday, 21 days PTO. Thing I hate Most of the team just curses out loud for no apparent reason. It’s really annoying and rude. Dogs running rampant and pooping all over the office. It’s disgusting. Also immature management.
Pros
PTO and Friday Happy Hour
Cons
No job security and favoritism, unnecessary cursing in the office

repetitive
the people you work with are nice people. There are a lot of food especially during friday fizz and you can bring your dog to work on fridays. Its a repetitive job every single day. Internship are not paid which sucks and they only pay your travel which is from zone 1 - 6 and doesnt cover outside london.
Pros
friday fizz (food and drinks)
Cons
boring and repetitive

Awful
The worst place to work, support colleagues (although most of them are chic since this job is basically charity). Confusing, unstructured, worst office environment and they begin to hemorrhage all the good colleagues due to insane treatment, inequality in pay, awful management, exhausting work loads where only a few actually benefited.
Pros
You have a job
Cons
Everything

Young environment with a lot of potential
Job is various and exciting, you literally travel the world sitting on a chair.
I have learnt a lot as you really have to be able to do find everything immediately to satisfy members requests
Cons
You work mainly through the phone without meeting members and suppliers personally, No meal provided nor incentives on sales

Not a great place to work
Management is not great and they reward up rather than develop their people.

People who are incapable of doing jobs are put in positions that are beyond their abilities which negatively impacts the success of the business.

I would not advise you to apply there
Senior management has no idea what they are doing - they undermine and provide no support to their teams.

Redundancy is on the table for every single employee so no job security.

Discrimination when it comes to progression...

An SME that wants to be a Corporation
The whole business idea and vision is great. However the pitch is not followed by the execution.
It is a big a company who wantsto be treated seriously and on par with other corporations of the same size, however everything is handled as if it was an SME managed by a beginner.

The management has no vision at all nor any strategy on how to proceed on anything, literally anything. They do not share any vision nor communicate with employees, they do not create any sense of mission orat least common goal. Everyobyd is working as if blindedm because nobody knows what they're doing or should be doing.

Changes, as small as internal changes for work procedures are never handled properly (no clarity, no communicationm, cotradictory messages). Big changes are handled in an even worse manner - projects are wrongly calculated, wrongly budgeted, always done at the lasty minute if ever, employees are never informed of anything on-going. The idea is just to drop more and more work on the line employees as they can "handle" (if they can't, they being bullied and threatened to be fired).

Employees have no benefits whatsover and there is no career path, not even any yearly salary review. There is indeed a system of bonuses, but the targets are unreachable and impossible so to make sure employees never get them.

This company is about luxury, but the company is too cheap to even put proper desks and computer stations and to properly clean the workspace of the employees. The aforementioned employees do not get to see or feel any of the luxury. They litterally have to bring their own toilet

● Putting presentations together for Marketing purposes. External and internal marketing communication.

● Responsibilities include planning and implementing events, on-site management, directly communicating with vendors and clients, and lots of insight into the London event planning industry

Bad experience
Training was poor, when we started nightshift no one was helping and had to figure out how to work by myself without any guidance.
Management was awful - accusing you of not answering emails, pressuring you with selling even if not part of the job; I prefer to be unemployed rather than working there.
