This company is great. I love my managers and my team. They have a direct interest in my well being with the company. I also love the office setup and vibe. Everyone is super helpful and attentive. I really appreciate that the company allows flexibility in your workday and unlimited PTO. My co-workers are easy to work with, and I feel supported by team leads. I only wish the pay was a bit higher. Because of this, I doubt if I will be able to work here for very long. A typical day at work involved working on projects. A project could be improving a current or previous product, brainstorming on new ideas with specific toppings, or modifying the color of frosting to match a cartoon character. This would be following by shelf-life testing and you would document your activities on projects at the end of the day. The hardest part of the job was dealing with the hot ovens. The most enjoyable part of the job was utilizing your own creativity and taking pictures of cookies in the miniature photo booth.

This company works 12 hour shifts 7 days a week 6 to 8 months a year. They have no regard to family-life frequently making employees work over with no notice or chance to make child care arrangement. State laws mean nothing, telling investigators they are "agricultural" and exempt. They make cookies for crying out loud.
This is the worst place you would ever want to work. No work life balance. Training was none!!

A typical work consist of 250-375 emails some on which were not meant for you, people would copy all when replying. You would not have time to reply before someone else would be sending the same email time and time again. I've always learned you have external and internal customers and treat them as such, not at this place. I was laid off and before I could get out the door my job was posted along with several of my peers. Management is the pits. Human Resource would listen and following up was unheard of!
