The most useful review selected by IndeedI have had a good experience overall with my recruiter. I feel like I can trust herto keep an eye out for jobs for me. The overall operation is small but effective enough.

Productive, interesting and fun!
Traveling Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Former Employee) - Alamogordo, NM - July 5, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Great communication. Great assignments. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Initial startup time for assignments can be short, but that's the nature of the business. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? The folks I dealt with were very professional, ethical and fair. What is a typical day like for you at the company? I worked as a travel technologist, not directly in the company.

I like Rapid/ LOW PAY?/ They know this. No paid holldays
Radiology Technologist (Current Employee) - Salt Lake Valley, UT - April 25, 2021
Pay should go up/ If I have worked for RAPID for 1 year/ MY PAY SHOULD BE AT MARKET LEVEL/ Not BELOW MARKET/ as it is When this is mentioned, nothing is done. I really like Sheila but no PAID HOLLIDAYS and I WORKED EVERY Holliday for straight pay. Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, Easter/ I worked every Holiday as favor to FT staff but was never compensated. When I said I was getting MANY OFFERS to break this contract/ I want to stay/My PAY IS WAY LOW/ Nothing is done, even when I forward texts for higher pay/ No Raise
Cons
No pay raises

Slimy
Multi-Modality Technologist (Former Employee) - USA - December 18, 2020
Be very careful when dealing with this company. They will try to cheat you out every dollar that is promised. In my case after completing an assignment they made me a return home reservation then at the airport counter with an reservation they refuse to pay for the flight ( at the airline counter you must present the same credit card of the reservation at the counter). Slimy business practice!!
Pros
My manager was GREAT!!!!
Cons
CEO is a SLIME BALL

They lie about most things related to your job.
Travel Nurse RN (Former Employee) - Albuquerque, NM - November 26, 2020
This is the most unscrupulous company I ever worked for. They will cheat you out of money and hours worked. Choose another agency or skip the middle man altogether.
Pros
None
Cons
They steal from you. Count all of your hours, minutes.

Did not even get to start my first assignment
Radiology Technologist (Former Employee) - South Dakota - September 28, 2020
I was sent on my first assignment to South Dakota, from Jacksonville, Fl. I was told my start date was 9/28, so I left on this 24hr. drive on Friday, 9/25. 600 miles into the trip, I received a phone call from Rapid Temps stating my contract with the hospital fell through, and that they hoped I haven't driven too far. I received no compensation for my time, gas, hotel accomodations or nothing. I have subsequently severed all ties with Rapid Temps. There are way too many other options for agencies that pay better and value their most valuable asset, human resources.

Great people to work with.
Payroll Specialist (Former Employee) - Artesia, NM - July 10, 2020
This was a temporary staffing agency at which I handled payroll for. The co workers were excellent and easy to work with. The management took time to warm up to but he is a really kind and professional man.
Pros
Nice modern office space
Cons
Short monitored breaks, micro management

lots of fun if you enjoy emptying your own bank account
Registered Nurse (RN) (Former Employee) - Shiprock, NM - March 20, 2020
I lost $16,000 working for this company---if they approach you, run screaming in the other direction. Can't say anymore...the first company I worked for who I actually owed THEM money, and I wasn't cleared to work in NM, where I was sent.

Company is confused and doesn't know what they are doing
traveling Nurse (Current Employee) - Home right now, thank God - September 12, 2019
Rapid Temps sent me to South Dakota first. I arrived in the middle of my contract and only worked there for 6 weeks instead of the 13 weeks. I was on the schedule before I even got there. Did not a finish bonus, even though it wasn't my fault the facility scheduled me before I was there. got paid for the 6 weeks I worked, but no bonuses. The second place they sent me was NM. I sat in NM for 4 weeks waiting to be cleared. in the meantime, I was paying out of pocket for mileage, tolls, and hotels. No reimbursement. and when I ran out of money, they thought nothing of letting a single woman sleep in her car, in a strange state, with no security. Not safe at all. And my agent couldn't have cared less, because I didn't have the money for a hotel and Rapid Temps wouldn't put me up until I started working. I now owe them $2,000 for rent. How many of you owe your employer money???? I want to quit, but I have to pay them back so I am stuck. Use me as a cautionary tale. Do NOT get involved with this company

Official response from Rapid Temps, Inc
September 17, 2019Hello, I am the COO of Rapid Temps. Let me start by saying the first job in South Dakota was due to the employees fault at not being able to complete the eQuip background required by the Federal Government. She continually locked herself out of the system and had to contact the Contracting Officer for assistance almost daily! She would have been able to start on time if not for her inability to complete the background and use a computer. New Mexico - she hid the fact she was terminated from another staffing agency, and the IHS facility obtained this information. Due to her inability to obtain a favorable reference, she was deemed "not suitable" for employment by the Federal Government. Rapid Temps paid out of pocket for her first month's rent at her request, but we still have not been reimbursed and will more than likely have to pursue legal action. This individual created every problem she lists - not our company!!!
