Staff Accountant in Torrance, CA

Started during the pandemic and have been here ever since. Everyone is very nice and management does a good job of checking in to make sure you are happy. I work in the accounting department and have no complaints. Overall, it’s a fun place to work.

I put in a lot of work at this company and it was appreciated. They used to do things to celebrate employees but now they force you to work in the office when it isn’t safe with covid. They always pay you way less than what is industry standard and leadership does not have your back or what you to succeed.

I have worked at RCTV for over three years and have nothing but great things to say about the company. RCTV has managed to appeal to the broadest of audiences in a somewhat niche market and does a great job prioritizing educating the customer base rather than the "used car salesman" pitch. There are tons of opportunities for growth within the company that are supported by a fantastic group of executives that have a clear vision on what they want the company to ultimately achieve. Company culture is solid with a few gatherings per year (covid permitting). Benefits are great as well as competitive pay that is offered.

I have worked with Rare Collectibles TV for 5+ years now and couldn't be happier. Before I started with the company, I hardly knew anything about coins and other collectibles. I now have more knowledge of coins and collectibles than ever before. Management does a phenomenal job training their employees and make sure you are comfortable in your job position. The job environment is productive and fun with friendly coworkers and management. Everyone is always looking out for each other and management is always there to help everyone in the company.Plenty of opportunities to move up and grow with the company with competitive pay and great benefits. I look forward to coming into work everyday and can't wait to see this company grow.

Rare Collectibles TV has a very interesting focus of selling rare and unique items. I have really learned a lot about coins, militaria, and vintage movie posters. Makes work fun when your subject of focus is so unique. Management does a good job of creating a fun work environment which has been a challenge due to the recent pandemic. Before the pandemic we had more parties and events. Even during the pandemic during the holidays we would receive gifts in the mail, such as candy for Halloween. The coworkers are all pretty great, people are friendly. The hardest part I would say is the fluctuation of the rare market. Prices and info are constantly changing. Last minute changes to products can be stressful. As well as featuring a product with a lack of information. But I have a good work load and I feel appreciated for the work that I do.
