RAS Logistics Terminal Manager Review

The people you work with in your facility can be the best part of the company

Read the reviews and I will tell you knowing most of the reviews 80% are true and the other are disgruntled. Your terminal family is the best part of the job but you get 0 support from regional and above. When you push back for what is right, you are on thin ice. Some regional mgrs and above DO NOT act like you are a part of the "company". They talk the talk but in no way walk the walk from top to the middle. Pay is decent but not worth what you do. This company thinks they can be the next XPO but with some regional mgrs and upper management, it will NEVER happen! If you do leave on your own, they will most likely pay you more to come back and if they are desperate enough, pay you more to stay. If you have issues with management, they pay you to leave.

Pros

Enjoy working with the people in your facility because they are all you got.

Cons

When your in the RAS mafia (regional/ upper), your in for life, if not watch your back.

Figure It Out On Your Own - But You'd Better Get It Right

Do you like working 16-18 hour days, constant pressure to meet unrealistic and vague metrics, and absolutely NO support from senior management? Then RAS Logistics is the place for you! The company offers PTO, but you can't take days off work during "sale season," which is 350 days out of the year. This company squeezes the life out of its employees and contractors. And NO ONE CARES if you put everything into your job. People are expendable, to the point that no one blinks when a highly skilled and dedicated employee burns out in a year. They just line up the fresh meat for the next round in the pressure cooker.

Pros

Commiserating with other employees.

Cons

Long hours, no PTO, hostile work environment, nonexistent support from an absent senior leadership group.

Upper management was good. Working level was not I’m glad I’m gone.

What is the best part of working at the company? The pay was good and it’s a clean facility. Most of the management was pleasant. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The training person and immediate supervisor What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Stressful. The person who was training should never train anyone. I started with one supervisor who was great and when he left, the supervisor who took over was two states away and a no personality twit who just wanted to push her weight around. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Stressful. Lots of belittling. Ask a question once or twice, but you better not ask again.

terrible

Poor leadership from upper management. I was told there is no training you just have to figure it out, "sink or swim". Terrible to customers and contactors.
